Dayita is a Sanskrit name meaning sweetheart, love of God. I got
this name when, in 2002, I was ordained Hindu priestess in Bengalia.
I believe in the supreme strength of divine beauty and harmony
and I know that this beauty will save the world. Since I heard
the inward sweet sound of divine inspiration, I have been trying
to follow this sound. I write, I paint, if it asks me to, and
I sing when I must, since nothing results in greater inner fulfilment
for the soul than love expressed through music. By way of devout
devotion, music becomes the means of self-realization."
